Khaberni - The Director-General of the Public Security, Major General Obeidallah Maaytah, honored the Egyptian expat Atef El-Masry in Karak governorate, by granting him a cost-covered Umrah trip to the Holy Lands in appreciation of his noble actions that embodied the values of honesty. Khaberni Atef El-Masry has been residing in Jordan since 1984, where he chose Al-Qatranah area in Karak governorate as his home, and works as a caretaker at the Mohammed bin Ayed Mosque in the area.
The mosque's imam said that Atef recorded two prominent stands, Khaberni the first being that he found an amount of 1300 Jordanian Dinars inside the mosque, and did not hesitate for a moment to search for its owner until he managed to return it to him. The second stand involved a traveler who found a heavy gold ring and handed it over to Atef instructing him to inquire about its owner and return it, which Atef immediately did, exerting his effort to find the owner of the ring until he managed to return it to him.
