Khaberni - The President of the Pharmacists, Dr. Zaid Ruhi Al-Kilani, and the members of the Pharmacists’ Syndicate Council valued the stance of the Jordanian Doctors’ Syndicate Council and expressed their thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the President of Doctors, Dr. Issa Al-Khushashneh, and to the honorable members of the Medical Association’s Council, and to the Secretary of the Medical Association, Dr. Muzaffar Al-Jalamida, appreciating their supportive stance and their selflessness and nobility in withdrawing Dr. Al-Jalamida’s candidacy for the position of Secretary General of the Professional Syndicates Complex, in support of the nominee from the Pharmacists’ Syndicate, the council member and council secretary Dr. Abdul Hamid Alimat.
This consensus occurred during a meeting that brought together the Council of the Pharmacists’ Syndicate and the Council of the Medical Association, attended by His Excellency the President of the Engineers, Engineer Abdullah Ghosheh, His Excellency the President of the Agricultural Engineers, Engineer Ali Abu Nuqta, His Excellency the President of the Dental Doctors, Dr. Aya Al-Asmar, and the current Secretary General of the Syndicates Complex, Attorney Khaldoun Al-Nasour, and members of the Doctors’ Syndicate Council and members from the supervising body of the Syndicates Complex, where all attendees expressed their support for this consensus, reflecting the spirit of partnership and cooperation between the professional syndicates.
Dr. Issa Al-Khushashneh, the President of the Doctors, welcomed the initiative represented by the resignation of the member of the Doctors’ Syndicate Council, Dr. Muzaffar Al-Jalamida, in favor of the candidate from the Pharmacists’ Syndicate, considering that this decision stems from a firm conviction, and is a national and responsible stance that embodies the spirit of selflessness and prioritizing the public interest and expresses the unity of the syndical front enjoyed by the professional syndicates
Dr. Zaid Ruhi Al-Kilani, the head of the Pharmacists’ Syndicate, confirmed that this stance reflects a high level of syndicate awareness and shared responsibility, and embodies the professional syndicates’ commitment to fostering a spirit of consensus and enhancing the bridges of trust between them.
He added that what occurred confirms that the syndical family is capable of presenting a distinguished model in institutional work based on mutual cooperation, cementing unity and enhancing the presence of the Professional Syndicates Complex and its role in defending the interests of its members and serving national causes.
On his part, Dr. Muzaffar Al-Jalamida, the secretary of the Doctors’ Syndicate, stated that in the context of the entitlement related to the position of Secretary General of the Professional Syndicates Complex, his consideration for candidacy came as a response to national responsibility and belief in the national and Arab role of the complex and the confidence of his colleagues in the Doctors’ Syndicate Council.
Based on my firm conviction that the strength of the nation and its syndicates today lies in their cohesion and unity rather than intense competition over them and founding the principle of consensus over discord.
Adding that the upcoming phase is in need of integrating efforts and prioritizing public interest over private ones, and we and our colleagues in the Pharmacists’ Syndicate share the same concerns and our national issues are common, giving them the space and advancing them to work together for the service of the syndicates and the nation under its wise leadership.
In a related context, Dr. Abdul Hamid Alimat confirmed that what happened today
embodies the highest meanings of cooperation, dedication, and teamwork, and this noble stance is highly appreciated and respected, and enhances the role of syndicates in defending the interests of its members, and serving national causes, and drawing and setting joint plans to contribute to the renaissance and prosperity of Jordan under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and his trustworthy Crown Prince, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah.
