Mohamed Ramadan's reply to his follower's question was mixed with both sarcasm and arrogance, according to some of his followers, as he replied saying: "Because I am Ramadan", which provoked some of his followers and described him as having reached a stage of arrogance.

Mohamed Ramadan had previously sparked great controversy on social media after announcing the release date for the official music video of his new song with Lara Trump, wife of the former U.S. president’s son Donald Trump.
Mohamed Ramadan published a video on his personal "Instagram" account, where he talked about the behind-the-scenes of the video shoot, and commented on it with words that angered several followers and activists on social media, where he said: "God willing, tomorrow the official video clip for my song with Lara Trump on Friday at 4 PM Cairo time, the clip was entirely shot in former President Donald Trump's palace, long may he live."
Comments poured in on the video from Ramadan's followers who objected to his saying "long may he live", pointing out their complete rejection of this statement, while others mocked the comment.
