Khaberni - Former U.S. President Barack Obama, in a controversial statement, said that aliens indeed exist, but he does not know their location.
In response to a question from journalist Brian Tyler Cohen about aliens in a podcast, Obama said: “They are real, but I haven't seen them.”
He did not provide any further details about the nature of their existence, but he used the opportunity to refute some old theories about their possible whereabouts.
The former president jokingly added: “They are not detained in Area 51, and there's no underground facility… unless there's a huge conspiracy and they hid it from the President of the United States.”
It should be noted that Area 51 is a highly secretive air force base in Groom Lake, Nevada, and has been the focus of conspiracy theories for decades that claim the government hides spacecraft and alien bodies there.
Interest in aliens has increased in recent years after the release of a series of government documents regarding sightings of strange flying objects, known as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs).
Radar clips taken by drones belonging to the U.S. military 13 years ago showed strange phenomena in the Middle East, while journalists George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell published these clips in February last year.
In 2021, the Pentagon released three video clips showing strange objects in the sky that caused a stunned reaction among American soldiers, including one of the objects moving opposite the direction of the wind.
This is not Obama's first statement on the subject, as he previously stated in an interview with The Late Late Show in 2021 that there are some things related to aliens that he cannot disclose on air, confirming that sightings of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena are true, and that the government has been unable to explain their origin or their odd flight patterns.
Obama concluded by saying: “But truthfully, and I am serious about this, there are footage and recordings of objects in the sky that we exactly don't know what they are.”
