Israeli media Abu Shabab militia most likely to manage security in Gaza

Khaberni - The official Hebrew Broadcasting Authority "Kan" revealed that March of the coming month is targeted as the start date for the operation to disarm Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

This step coincides with the expectation of a "technocrat" government taking over administrative duties, and according to sources at the "Peace Council," which is scheduled to hold a crucial meeting in Washington next week to finalize the arrangements for the post-war security phase.
Field recruitment and movements in Rafah

According to the report prepared by journalist "Itai Blumental," actual preparations have begun on the ground through local militias coordinating with the occupation side.
The information indicates that these groups have begun to bolster their ranks by recruiting new members and building military bases in their controlled areas.

The "New Rafah" area will be the cornerstone of this plan, where the "Abu Shabab" militia will handle the tasks of scanning and neutralizing the tunnels belonging to Hamas, and securing the movement of entry and exit through the Rafah crossing with official permission from the Israeli army.
Logistical support and modern arming

Foreign reports have indicated that in the past weeks, the occupation has transferred advanced combat equipment to these militias, including automatic rifles and modern vehicles,” which are typically used exclusively by senior officers in the occupation army.

This logistical support aims to enable these elements to enforce security control and transform it into a "local force" capable of confronting Palestinian resistance.
Military persistence and political directives

For his part, the Chief of Staff of the occupation army, Eyal Zamir, confirmed during a field tour in Rafah that the strategic goal of the war remains complete disarmament of the Gaza Strip.

Despite announcing the destruction of Hamas' front battalions and achieving a "military defeat" of the movement after the return of all detainees, he emphasized the army's readiness to carry out decisive offensive operations according to political-level directives.
