It Could Save Your Life Early Signs That Precede Heart Attacks by 48 Hours

Khaberni - Cardiologists warn of subtle signals the body sends before a heart attack occurs, ranging from 24 to 48 hours.

Experts clarified that the narrowing of arteries, inflammation of blood vessels, and decreased oxygen supply lead to the appearance of early physical symptoms, emphasizing that detecting these alerts and seeking urgent care can prevent severe damage to the heart muscle.

Biological change mechanisms within the body
Physiological changes begin within the circulatory system when the blood flow suffers a partial block due to unstable plaque accumulation in the coronary arteries, according to "Times Now".

The 48 hours preceding the crisis see an increase in inflammation levels inside the vessels, along with significant fluctuations in the blood quantities reaching the heart, placing intense pressure on the heart muscle which leads to decreased tissue oxygen supply necessary for efficient functioning.

Symptom variation between genders
The nature of warning signals differs between men and women; while men commonly experience sharp chest pains, women exhibit atypical symptoms including severe fatigue, nausea, and shortness of breath.

This difference sometimes leads to a delay in diagnosis for women, as these signs are not immediately linked to direct heart problems, thus requiring careful attention to these physical changes as soon as they occur.

Pre-warning and danger indicators
The signs preceding a heart attack include the following:

Unexplained fatigue: Sudden fatigue without physical exertion is an indicator of the heart's struggle to pump blood.
Chest constriction: A feeling of pressure, fullness, or burning that comes and goes, which may resemble symptoms of indigestion.
Shortness of breath: Difficulty in breathing during routine activities or while resting due to fluid accumulation in the lungs.
Limb and jaw pain: The discomfort sometimes extends to the left arm, shoulders, back, or jaw intermittently.
Sleep disturbances: Some experience sudden insomnia or wakefulness accompanied by anxiety shortly before an attack
It is worth noting that the risk increases for individuals suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, in addition to smokers and those with a family history of heart disease, imposing upon them the need to closely monitor any health changes very carefully.
