Egypt crowned champion of the expatriate football tournament organized by the Jordanian community club

Khaberni  - The activities of the twelfth edition of the expatriate football tournament, under the slogan «We love you Oman», organized exclusively by the Jordanian community club in the Sultanate of Oman.

The closing ceremony was sponsored by His Excellency Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, President of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bousher, amidst a distinguished sports atmosphere that embodied the spirit of brotherhood and meeting among the expatriate communities in the Sultanate.
The closure ceremony witnessed a notable official and public attendance, where Mr. Ammar Obeidat, President of the Jordanian community club, in his speech expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the sponsor of the ceremony, and to the honorable attendees, and all the relevant entities in the Sultanate of Oman, the participating teams, the media bodies, the members of the organizing committee, the sponsoring companies, the arbitration staff, and all supporting entities, appreciating their role in making this edition of the tournament a success.
Obeidat confirmed that the expatriate football tournament represents a message of loyalty and appreciation for the Sultanate of Oman, which has always been a host for expatriate communities and a model to be followed in coexistence and harmony, noting that the philosophy and goals of the tournament are based on instilling values of love and closeness between peoples, enhancing the sports spirit, and building bridges of communication between different expatriate communities through sports as a universal human language that transcends differences, and contributes to honing talents and opening professional opportunities for players.
The record holder for the number of championships, the Egyptian community team was crowned the champion of the tournament, and for the second consecutive time, after winning the final match against the Iranian community team, which came in second place, while the Jordanian community team came in third place.
The ceremony also included the distribution of individual awards including the best player of the tournament, the best goalkeeper, and the top scorer of the tournament, along with the best team award. Obeidat praised the outstanding technical levels presented by the participating teams, totaling twelve teams.
Dr. Mansour Al-Qudah, the master of ceremony, shone in presenting the closing segments in a distinctive professional style that won the admiration and praise of the audience.
