Food and Drug Authority Forms Technical Team to Enhance Inspection Quality

Khaberni - The general director of the Food and Drug Administration, Rana Obeidat, formed a technical team to monitor field inspection operations and improve their quality.

According to a statement from the institution on Saturday, Obeidat stated that the formed team reflects the institution’s belief in applying the principles of integrity and transparency and controlling the inspection process to enhance its efficiency, starting work from the beginning of the year aimed at activating the technical linkage process, improving performance quality, and raising communication skills between inspectors and food establishment owners.

She added that forming this team represents a qualitative transition in inspection operations to enhance performance quality and achieve the highest level of transparency and integrity in work.

The team consists of the general director’s advisor for regional affairs, Mohammad Bataineh, the head of the inspection department, Moaz Nasrawin, and in coordination with the director of the regional directorate, Khaled Al-Rousan, to monitor inspection operations in the field and enhance the inspection quality through field tours, boosting the partnership between the institution and food establishment owners, and raising recommendations based on the outcomes of field verification to contribute to achieving safe food.
