Innovative Russian Method for Accelerating Tissue Regeneration

Khaberni - The press service of Sechenov University in Russia announced that the university's researchers have discovered a method to reduce inflammation caused by wounds and accelerate the repair of biological tissues.

A report issued by the university's press service said: "Researchers at Sechenov University have proven that bioactive substances secreted by mediating stem cells (MSCs) from human adipose tissue are capable of transforming immune cells from an inflammatory response to a reparative response."

The researchers explained that this technique paves the way for the development of a new generation of anti-inflammatory treatments and therapies enhancing tissue regeneration in the body, including broad applications ranging from treating injuries to manufacturing biological tissue replacements.

In the next phase, the research team intends to study the impact of these bioactive agents in more complex experimental models and assess their potential transformation into biomedical products.

 The study leaders pointed out that this technology could significantly contribute to improving the success of biological material transplantation and enhancing the effectiveness of tissue repair in fields such as surgery, dentistry, and regenerative medicine. Regenerative Medicine is an advanced medical field aimed at restoring the functions of damaged or diseased tissues and organs by stimulating the body's natural healing mechanisms, replacing damaged cells, or engineering new tissues.
