Khaberni - The website "Axios" revealed that the United States and Iran will hold a crucial round of nuclear negotiations in Geneva next Tuesday.
Sources informed the site that the American team in the talks will include Trump's senior adviser Jared Kushner and White House envoy Steve Witkoff.
An American official said that the presidential envoy Steve Witkoff spoke earlier this week to the Omani Foreign Minister and presented him with several messages related to the nuclear talks to give to the Iranians.
It is expected that the Iranian delegation will be led by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
It is also expected that the Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi, who mediates between the two parties, will attend.
The Omani Foreign Minister prepared a document based on his call with Witkoff and gave it to Ali Larijani, the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, who visited Muscat last Tuesday.
American President Donald Trump had earlier announced that his administration is facing a "tough" situation with Iran in negotiations aimed at reaching a nuclear deal, confirming that the United States sent a "massive aircraft carrier group" to the region as part of its preparations. He said, "Sometimes you have to be fearful," warning that Iran will face a "very difficult situation" if a fair and good deal is not reached.
