Khaberni - British media reported that Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is preparing to expand his investments in the hospitality and entertainment sectors within the United Kingdom, in a step that reflects a clear direction towards enhancing his presence in the business world after retiring from football.
The Sun newspaper clarified that the recent moves indicate the intention of "Rocket of Madeira" to open hotels and entertainment facilities bearing his own brand, as part of his existing partnership with a well-known Portuguese hotel group.
It stated: "Cristiano Ronaldo will enter the British market benefiting from his great popularity and his global marketing value."
It added: "The Portuguese star had launched a partnership with a well-known Portuguese hotel group years ago to establish a chain of facilities bearing his name, and the project has succeeded in spreading within Portugal and a number of tourist destinations, which encouraged him to study expansion in new markets, specifically in Britain which represents a special milestone for him on both a sporting and fan base level."
