Khaberni - Scientists at the Russian "Sechenov" University stated that one in every six people in the world is considered infertile, pointing out that the problem affects 17.6% of the global population.

Korolev explained, "According to the latest data, 17.6% of the global population is considered infertile, meaning that one in every six people - whether male or female - suffers from infertility. As for men's contribution to the reproductive process, I would like to point out that their share amounts to 50%."

He added that male infertility is commonly caused by genetic abnormalities, varicocele, obesity, and related diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes.
Dmitry Korolev advised men over forty to have tests for testosterone levels, glucose, and thyroid hormones to monitor reproductive health.

He further explained, "Firstly, testosterone levels should be tested, specifically total free testosterone. Also, the levels of glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin, which can directly affect the condition of the penile vessels and erection. Doctors also recommend thyroid hormone tests and tumor markers."

The doctor noted that in addition to the aforementioned tests, men should undergo a digital rectal examination by a urologist, as this test allows for highly accurate diagnosis of benign prostatic hyperplasia or prostate cancer.
