Ehud Barak Admits to Visiting Epstein on His Island

Khaberni - Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak expressed his regret over his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, confirming that he did not participate in any illegal activities.
In an interview with Channel 12, Barak said he regrets maintaining a close relationship with Epstein after his first conviction for sex crimes and before the extensive investigation against him in 2019, noting that he takes full responsibility for all his actions.
He mentioned that he could have exercised more careful judgment and sought to learn more about Epstein's behavior, adding that he regrets the moment he first met him in 2003.

He confirmed that throughout the fifteen years he knew Epstein, he never witnessed any abnormal incident or suspicious behavior, adding that he was not aware of the nature of his crimes until 2019, and many others were also unaware at that time.

When asked about a photo of him entering Epstein's Manhattan house in 2016 with part of his face covered by a scarf, he clarified that he was protecting himself from the cold, pointing out that a photo of him leaving the building with his face uncovered was taken on the same day, which indicates that he was not trying to hide his identity.
