AlTayeb The Joint Arab List will have a decisive impact in the upcoming elections

Khaberni - Israeli Knesset member Ahmed Al-Tayeb said that the reestablishment of the Joint Arab List was a commitment to the Sakhnin Document, which was signed by the four Arab parties, emphasizing that this document is binding and reflects the will of the Arab community inside.

Al-Tayeb explained in a statement to "Al-Mamlaka" on Thursday evening that more than 90 percent of the Arab public opinion inside supports the unity of the parties within a joint list, indicating that this demand was clear in the popular demonstrations that called for the political leaders to unite and respond to the call of the streets.

According to Al-Tayeb, surveys indicate that the Joint Arab List could win no less than 15 seats in the Knesset, and could reach 16 or 17 seats depending on the voting percentage and participation in the elections, noting that the reestablishment of the joint list increases participation by at least 10 percent.

He affirmed that this step represents the most effective tool to remove the far-right government led by Benjamin Netanyahu, pointing out that the rapid attack launched by right-wing ministers and deputies, led by Itamar Ben-Gvir, following the publication of the document signing photos, reflects their awareness of the impact of Arab mass unity on the governmental balance, accusing the signatories of supporting terrorism.

Al-Tayeb added that the unity of the Arab ranks is capable of removing the right from power, confirming that after the reestablishment of the Joint List, there will include other parliamentary steps, based on the unity of stance and self-defense, responding to the desires of the Palestinian Arab public inside, in the Galilee, Triangle, Negev, and coastal cities.

He pointed out that this unity is the proven and best way to confront organized crime and racism, describing it as an unprecedented stage of targeting that the Palestinian community inside faces, whether from criminal organizations or the current government.

Al-Tayeb also affirmed his pride in the role he played in signing the document and working on the reestablishment of the Joint Arab List, emphasizing that this position represents the approach of the Arab Movement for Change that he leads, and that no party can backtrack on this agreement, warning that anyone who withdraws from the document will bear a political cost, asserting that the goal is to advance politically in the next stage.
