AlHunaiti Receives Highranking Canadian Military Official

Khaberni - Major General Yousef Al-Hunaiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, welcomed on Thursday at his office in the General Command the Assistant Deputy Chairman of the Canadian Defense Staff, Major General Christopher Robinson, and the accompanying delegation.

The two parties discussed the prospects for military cooperation between the armed forces of the two friendly countries, especially in the areas of training and exchange of expertise, in addition to discussing a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff affirmed, in the presence of several senior officers of the armed forces and the Canadian military attaché in Amman, the depth of military relations between the two countries, praising the level of ongoing cooperation and its achievement in the exchange of expertise and the enhancement of readiness to face common challenges.

On his part, Major General Robinson valued the efforts of the Jordanian armed forces in maintaining regional security and stability, emphasizing the importance of enhancing joint military cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
