The Israeli military establishment announced yesterday, Wednesday, about a package of "security" recommendations in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan.
The recommendations include enhancing the deployment of the occupation forces, with a special focus on the frontline areas in the West Bank.
At the same time, unlike previous years, the recommendation is not to stop the demolition operations, raids, and arrests in the West Bank provinces, but to carry them out "sensitively" considering the timing and potential consequences on the ground.
In regard to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the recommendation is to allow about 10,000 Palestinian worshippers to enter during the month, while considering age restrictions: men over 55 years old and women over 50 years old. Additionally, those released in prisoner exchange deals will not be allowed to enter Al-Aqsa.
