Khaberni - The control and inspection teams of the Food and Drug Corporation closed a juice shop in the capital Amman as a result of the detection of insects and failure to meet the health conditions and the approved maintenance requirements, as part of a monitoring campaign that lasted until late at night.
The corporation clarified in a press statement that the field inspection showed non-compliance with the approved health conditions for freezing and thawing fresh fruits, in addition to the emission of a foul odor in the facility due to the lack of isolation of the sewage network.
The corporation added that its teams retained the entire quantity of juices in preparation for their destruction, and commenced the procedures for referring the parties involved to the competent judicial authorities to take the necessary legal action against them.
