Trump after meeting with Netanyahu No decision has been taken and negotiations with Iran will continue

Khaberni - The US President declared after meeting the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that no decision has been taken and that negotiations with Iran will continue.

He wrote on his social network "Truth Social" that "no decision has yet been taken, and negotiations with Iran will continue".

Trump added: "I insisted on continuing the negotiations. We will see what they lead to. Iran had decided last time that it preferred not to reach an agreement and received a 'midnight hammer' blow. I hope their decision this time is more logical and responsible."

Trump added: "I made it clear to the Prime Minister that this is the priority. And if an agreement is not reached, we will see what the consequences will be."

The meeting between US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lasted longer than expected, lasting about three hours, and took place in the Cabinet Room at the White House, not in the Oval Office.

Trump and Netanyahu discussed the ongoing negotiations with the Islamic Republic, while the Prime Minister sought to define his red lines, primarily regarding Iran's ballistic missiles and its proxies in the region, as well as focusing on the nuclear file.

Netanyahu assured Trump that Iran does not need intercontinental ballistic missiles to hit targets in Israel and Europe, and the Prime Minister provided information indicating that Iran is still committing massacres against its citizens, despite its pledge to the United States not to execute protesters.

The discussions also covered various scenarios in the event of a collapse of the negotiations, and what would happen if Iran attacked Israel. Netanyahu seeks to ensure Israel's freedom to act, while at the same time Tel Aviv fears a violent reaction, as happened after the nuclear agreement struck by the Obama administration in the past decade.

The two sides also discuss potential scenarios for an attack on Iran, whether by the United States alone, or in another context.
