Khaberni - A girl has died, on Wednesday evening, after drowning in the Zarqa stream in Jerash Governorate, according to a medical source.
The source clarified that the girl was rushed to the Jerash Government Hospital, but she was declared dead upon arrival. Her relatives indicated that the drowning incident took place in the Zarqa stream.
It was noted that the relevant authorities have commenced an investigation into the incident, and the forensic medicine will determine the exact cause of death, following standard procedures.
