Ministry of Culture Launches its Annual Program Amasi Ramadan

Khaberni - The Ministry of Culture announced the "Amasi Ramadan" program, which includes numerous events that align with the spiritual and social values of the holy month, and due to the cultural aspect's presence in this area.

According to a press statement released by the ministry on Wednesday, the Minister of Culture Mustafa Al-Rawashdeh said that the program is rich with events that consider diversity and promote positive values during the days of the holy month, highlighting the participation of several religious chant groups, and Jordanian and Arab chanters.

Al-Rawashdeh added that there are many entertainment segments designated for children and suitable for the Jordanian family, which affirm the gracious values of the holy month, as the cultural aspect forms an important part each year of the blessed month of Ramadan.

He said that the events would vary among cultural centers across the kingdom's provinces, focusing on the Jordanian sense of place, in addition to activities that embody a state of harmony and social solidarity.

Al-Rawashdeh emphasized that these events carry positive and humane messages, mentioning visits to homes for the elderly, orphanages, and reform and rehabilitation centers, to create a familial atmosphere, and share the spirit of the holy month with the inmates with the aim of reinforcing social and humane values, and enhancing the spirit of tolerance and communication.

He stated that the program includes activities aimed at actively invigorating literary, intellectual, and cultural councils, aligning with the atmosphere of the holy month, and offering a comprehensive experience that celebrates the values of the holy month, and combines culture, entertainment, and community gathering in a unique family atmosphere, providing an additional option for families looking for organized evening activities during the holy month.

It's noted that the Ramadan evenings are held in cultural centers across all provinces of the kingdom, on Thursdays and Fridays every week during Ramadan, from nine-thirty in the evening until midnight, with an open invitation.
