Khaberni - Major General Yousef Al-Hunaity, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, received on Wednesday in his office at the General Command, a delegation from the American Institute of Security Governance, headed by Tim Markel.
The meeting, attended by several high-ranking officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces, discussed areas of cooperation in security governance and institutional capacity building. It also explored ways to develop partnerships that enhance the principles of good governance in military and security institutions, in alignment with leading international experiences in strategic planning, decision-making, and resource management.
Major General Al-Hunaity emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise and knowledge with specialized institutions, noting the Jordanian Armed Forces' commitment to developing institutional work systems and enhancing performance efficiency. This reflects positively on the readiness and professionalism level in carrying out various duties and tasks, within a comprehensive vision based on scientific planning and effective management of human and operational resources.
On his part, Markel praised the advanced level reached by the Jordanian Armed Forces and their institutional approach in development and modernization, affirming the importance of partnership and exchange of expertise in the areas of security governance and capacity building.
