Khaberni - The Jordanian field hospital teams in South Gaza/9 arrived on Tuesday at the mission site to fulfill their humanitarian duty in delivering health and relief care, and alleviating human suffering in the sector. This continues the humanitarian and medical efforts undertaken by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to support the resilience of the brothers in the Gaza Strip.
The medical and administrative teams have started taking necessary actions, preparing clinics and medical facilities, and activating work plans to receive patients in the coming days, ensuring the provision of medical services with efficiency and quality, according to the highest standards of humanitarian and relief work.
The medical and administrative staff of the hospital includes various specialties in medicine and nursing, including general surgery, internal medicine, orthopedics, general medicine, anesthesia and intensive care, dermatology, vascular surgery, pediatric surgery and neonatology, gynecology and obstetrics, emergency, maxillofacial surgery, and neurosurgery, as well as a mobile prosthetic limb support unit, enhancing its ability to handle various advanced and emergency medical cases.
During its operation, the Jordanian field hospital in South Gaza/8 handled 58,554 visitors, performed 650 major and minor surgical operations, and contributed to the installation of 168 upper and lower prosthetic limbs, bringing the total number of limbs installed as part of the “Restoring Hope” initiative to 805 prosthetic limbs.
It should be noted that the crews of the Jordanian field hospital in South Gaza/8 returned home today after successfully completing their medical and humanitarian tasks, and were received by the commander of the First Royal Guard Mechanized Brigade.
