Khaberni - Stemming from Arab Amman University's keenness to expand its strategic partnerships with leading national institutions in the health and pharmaceutical sectors, the university has signed a cooperation agreement with the Jordan River Foundation for Pharmaceutical Industries, with the aim of supporting the educational process, practical training, and enhancing the practical and research aspects related to academic programs, which contributes to preparing qualified cadres that meet the needs of the labor market and keep pace with the rapid developments in the pharmaceutical industries. The agreement was signed on behalf of the university by its president, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Wadyan, and on behalf of the Jordan River Pharmaceutical Industries Foundation by its General Manager, Dr. Rami Sabbarini, in the presence of Professor Dr. Rana Abu Houeij, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Mai Al-Hawamdeh, Head of the Training Committee at the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Dr. Reem Al-Khalili, Deputy General Manager for Technical Affairs at the Jordan River Foundation for Pharmaceutical Industries.
In this regard, Dr. Al-Wadyan expressed the university's pride in this cooperation, pointing out that the agreement aligns with the university's vision aimed at building effective partnerships with institutions in the health and pharmaceutical sectors, linking study plans to the requirements of practical reality, and enabling students to acquire the necessary professional experiences before graduating, thus enhancing their readiness to engage in the labor market efficiently and competently. Dr. Al-Wadyan also stated that the university pays special attention to developing its academic and training programs according to the highest standards of quality and accreditation, in line with national policies in supporting pharmaceutical industries and scientific research.
For his part, Dr. Sabbarini expressed his pleasure in signing the agreement with Arab Amman University, appreciating its academic reputation and distinguished status, and confirmed the readiness of the Jordan River Foundation for Pharmaceutical Industries to provide a supportive and stimulating training environment for the university's students, which contributes to honing their practical skills and transferring professional expertise to them, serving the interests of the students, the institution, and the pharmaceutical sector in general.
Dr. Abu Houeij stated that this agreement represents an important step in supporting specialized academic programs at the college, particularly the master's program in pharmacovigilance and regulatory affairs, by providing quality practical training opportunities for the program's students at the Jordan River Foundation for Pharmaceutical Industries. She explained that this cooperation contributes to enhancing the practical aspects of the program, linking theoretical knowledge with actual professional practices, in line with labor market requirements, and enhancing graduates' readiness to work in the fields of pharmaceutical industries and regulatory affairs with high efficiency.
This agreement is part of Arab Amman University's orientation to enhance the integration between academic education and practical application, by providing quality field training opportunities for students of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the facilities of the Jordan River Foundation for Pharmaceutical Industries, in accordance with approved regulations and instructions, ensuring the achievement of high-quality educational outcomes, alongside the exchange of scientific and practical expertise, supporting joint scientific and applied research, and embodying the university's commitment to its academic and community roles, and its ongoing pursuit to develop quality partnerships that contribute to improving the quality of education, enhancing training and employment opportunities, and supporting the journey of sustainable development in the kingdom.
