Saudi AlIttihad tears apart AlGharafas net with a fiery seven goals

Khaberni - Saudi Al-Ittihad club overwhelmingly defeated its counterpart Al-Gharafa with seven clean goals, in a strong match that took place on Tuesday evening, on the Al-Inmaa stadium at King Abdullah Sports City, during the seventh round of the Asian Champions League for elites.

Al-Ittihad entered the match with a lineup led by goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic, including Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti, Danilo Pereira, Hassan Kadsh, Mario Mitaj, Fabinho, Mohamedou Dombia, Houssem Aouar, Moussa Diaby, Youssef En-Nesyri, and Roger Fernandes.

Youssef En-Nesyri opened the scoring early in the third minute, after he capitalized on a perfect cross from Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti inside the box, confidently placing the ball in Al-Gharafa’s net.

Houssem Aouar added the second goal in the 20th minute, while the referee canceled a goal for Roger Fernandes at the 30th minute after reviewing the video assistant referee technology due to offside.

At the start of the second half, Roger Fernandes strengthened the lead with a third goal in the 49th minute, before Danilo Pereira added the fourth goal two minutes later, assisted by Houssem Aouar.

Al-Ittihad continued their goal festival: Houssem Aouar scored the fifth goal in the 58th minute, then Roger Fernandes came back to score the sixth goal in the 62nd minute.

Houssem Aouar completed the seven goals by scoring the seventh goal in the 79th minute, confirming Al-Ittihad's overwhelming superiority, raising the team's points to 12 in the sixth position, while Al-Gharafa remains in tenth place with 6 points.
