Salah gives his agent the final green light to negotiate with AlIttihad

Khaberni - "Foot Mercato" revealed on Tuesday that Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, a player for Liverpool English, gave the green light to his agent Rami Abbas Issa to start negotiations with the Saudi club Al-Ittihad to join their ranks next season.

Salah extended his contract with Liverpool last year for two seasons, ending in the summer of 2027, but his future with the red team is now in doubt after entering into a crisis with the club's management and coach Arne Slot in December, after being benched for several matches.

Well-known journalist Santi Ona published a report on "Foot Mercato" on Tuesday, stating: Mohamed Salah allowed his agent to enter into negotiations for a transfer to the ranks of Al-Ittihad Saudi next summer, as he is actually considering moving to play in the "Roshan" Saudi Professional League.

Al-Ittihad Jeddah lost its French stars Karim Benzema, who moved to his compatriot Al Hilal during the winter transfer period, and also N’Golo Kanté, who moved to Turkey to play with the Istanbul giant Fenerbahçe.

The Egyptian star is the third top scorer in the history of Liverpool English after scoring 251 goals and providing 119 assists in 426 matches he played since joining from Roma Italian in the summer of 2017.
