Khaberni - Al-Hussein Technical University has opened early registration for high school students for the academic year 2026/2027, a step aimed at giving students enough time to plan their academic journey and make informed decisions about their future.
The university confirmed that deciding on a university major is a pivotal step in every student's life and gives students and parents a chance to seriously think and explore the available options before the end of the academic year, removing the pressures faced by students when choosing their academic path and providing them with enough time to explore different majors, understand the requirements of each field, and ensure it aligns with their interests and professional ambitions. It also noted that early registration allows students to benefit from the academic advising and career guidance offered by the university, helping them make informed and well-considered decisions that qualify them for a more stable and successful future.
The university announced through its website and social platforms that Thursday, February 12, 2026, will be the first open day, during which the university will welcome students and parents interested in registering and inquiring about technical specialties and programs. The first open day will include informative explanations about specialties, job training, and employment opportunities, and will also feature the presence of members from the academic and administrative staff to answer students' and parents' inquiries.
It is worth mentioning that Al-Hussein Technical University was established in 2016 as one of the Crown Prince Foundation's programs, aiming to provide high-quality technical education that meets international standards in the fields of engineering, technology, and applied sciences, and adopts a unique educational model focusing on applied education and intensive practical training through engineering workshops and scientific laboratories, in addition to a year-long practical training opportunities integrated into the curricula.
The university is also distinguished by providing employment opportunities for its students, achieving a 100 percent employment rate, and offers three academic levels including Bachelor's degree, Higher National Certificate (HNC), and Higher National Diploma (HND), which gives students flexibility to continue their education according to their professional needs.
