Khaberni - The King Hussein Bin Ali Brigade conducted today, Tuesday, a security exercise at one of the training fields, aiming to test the operational readiness in the use of and combating drones within a virtual operational environment, attended by the assistant for administration and human resources.
During a military briefing presented by the brigade commander, the assistant for administration and human resources reviewed the concept of the exercise, its objectives, the implementation stages, the operational scenarios, and the challenges it imposes.
The exercise activities included executing a series of scenarios representing monitoring attempts to carry out an armed attack on security points using armored vehicles, where targets were detected and followed through reconnaissance drones, and then dealt with by combat drones and neutralized before reaching their targets.
The exercise also included implementing countermeasures against hostile drones, using jamming and electronic control systems, aimed at testing the capabilities and potentials of the participating troops in protecting vital facilities.
This exercise is part of the annual training plans of the Jordanian Armed Forces, in the context of developing operational capabilities, enhancing readiness levels, and combat preparedness, and keeping up with the requirements of modern operational fields.
