Khaberni - The Hashemite Jordanian Charity launched a series of trainings for empowerment and impact projects in the southern provinces, starting from Karak Governorate, as part of an approach that enhances economic and social empowerment, and transforms local skills into real and sustainable production opportunities within communities.
According to a statement by the authority today, Tuesday, these trainings are part of the Arzaq project, where needle-mushroom training for handmade crafts was conducted for 10 women, along with training in the manufacture of 3D panels using styrofoam with the participation of 10 women, in addition to carpentry training targeting 12 men, aiming to develop practical skills applicable in the local labor market.
The activities also included the Tam’anea project for psychological support and social backing through conducting the "Morning Coffee" activity, with the participation of 25 women, in the context of psychological and social support and enhancing spaces for dialogue and positive communication.
The Community Tarabot Center conducted an interactive play involving 140 children, alongside a T-shirt printing activity, which enhances artistic expression and develops the children’s creative skills.
The authority confirmed that these trainings come as part of a comprehensive vision focusing on human investment, building capacities from within, and enhancing opportunities for self-reliance, pointing out that the southern provinces represent a developmental priority due to the energies and skills they possess which deserve support and development.
