Khaberni - The Public Corporation for Food and Drug referred a school cafeteria in Zarqa to the competent judicial authorities to complete the legal procedures against it, due to failing to obtain the necessary licenses for the kitchen, in addition to selling items not allowed in the school cafeteria including burgers, zingers, and sausages.
The Corporation stated in a press release that these measures are part of the monitoring campaign on school cafeterias, to ensure adherence to health requirements through periodic joint monitoring tours conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the Directorate of Education, covering all schools across the kingdom.
