Khaberni - The specialized control and inspection teams in the Public Institution for Food and Drug conducted 2350 field tours on food establishments, through its branches in various parts of the kingdom, since the beginning of this month until Monday, February 10, 2026.
The institution stated in a press release that these tours resulted in the suspension of 57 establishments from operation and the closure of 11 establishments, in addition to issuing warnings to 1400 establishments, noting that 3 establishments were closed on the day, including a juice workshop that did not meet health requirements, where the entire quantity available was destroyed.
