Khaberni – The Jordanian Al-Hussein Irbid team achieved a valuable victory over the Iranian Independence with a score of 1-0, in the match that took place today at Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai, within the first leg of the sixteen round from the 2025–2026 season of the AFC Champions League 2 football tournament.
The only goal of the match was scored in the 77th minute by striker Yusuf Abu Jalboush, who gave his team a significant advantage before the anticipated return leg at Amman International Stadium.
The representative of Jordanian football displayed organized performance and high tactical discipline, and succeeded in achieving a positive result away from home, thus taking a significant step towards the quarter-finals of the continental tournament.
