Saudi Arabia Al Ahli and Al Ittihad compete to sign a Bayern Munich star

Khaberni - Reports indicate that one of the prominent stars of the German club Bayern Munich has entered the interest circle of Al Ahli and Al Ittihad Saudi clubs, as part of their efforts to sign him in the upcoming period.

According to a report by the German magazine "Kicker", the English star Harry Kane, who continues his remarkable performance in his third season with Bayern Munich, has become of interest to Al Ahli and Al Ittihad, to explore the possibility of signing him for the next season.

Kane leads the top scorers list in the German league this season with 24 goals, having scored 45 goals in 40 matches across all competitions, in addition to making 9 decisive passes.

The report indicated that the Bavarian club's management is seeking to renew the 32-year-old player's contract, which currently extends until 2027, noting that there is a release clause allowing him early departure for a fee ranging between 60 and 70 million euros.

It also clarified that one of the Saudi clubs is preparing to make a very attractive offer to sign Kane, either during the upcoming summer transfer period or in the year 2027, with serious moves to finalize the deal.

The sporting director of Bayern Munich, Max Eberl, confirmed that the club had initial discussions with Harry Kane in the past few days about extending his contract, given the significant interest the player has from clubs in the English and Saudi leagues.

It is likely that major clubs like Al Ahli and Al Ittihad, who recently lost their French striker Karim Benzema, will need to sign a world-class striker like Harry Kane to boost their attacking line before the start of the World Cup 2034.

Officials from Al Hilal club had previously conducted negotiations with the English international in an attempt to sign him, considering him one of the names capable of supporting the sports project of the club.

It is noted that Harry Kane joined Bayern Munich in 2023, coming from Tottenham Hotspur, in a deal worth about 95 million euros, while his current market value is estimated at around 75 million euros.
