Khaberni - Inspection and control teams at the Food and Drug Administration shut down one of the sweets workshops in Mafraq due to the violation of health standards and cleanliness requirements.
The administration clarified in a press statement that the violations included the use of eggs that showed signs of spoilage, the absence of health certificates, and the production of one type of sweets without obtaining a permit.
The administration added that their teams secured all materials in the workshop in preparation for their destruction and also initiated legal proceedings against the operators of the workshop with the relevant judicial authorities.
