Khaberni - In the context of Amman Arab University's efforts to enhance its academic and research partnerships both regionally and internationally, and originating from its vision aimed at openness to leading global experiences and the exchange of scientific expertise, Amman Arab University, represented by its president, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Widian, signed an academic cooperation agreement with Tigris University in the Republic of Iraq, represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Abdullah Issa Al-Majool, aiming to enhance mutual cooperation in the fields of university education and scientific research, quality assurance, as well as the exchange of expertise in various academic fields, contributing to the enhancement of educational process, evaluation of academic programs, and exchange of researchers, in addition to providing opportunities for top bachelor's degree students to join postgraduate programs at both institutions, according to the regulations adopted by the two universities, with the presence of: Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Dhnaibat, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Dr. Khaled Bani Hammad, a faculty member in the Business School at Amman Arab University, and Dr. Tamim Dhulfiqar Abdul Amir, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Tigris University.
In this regard, Dr. Al-Widian emphasized that the signing of this agreement comes within the framework of Amman Arab University's direction towards expanding its academic partnerships with distinguished Arab and regional universities, explaining that cooperation with Tigris University contributes to the advancement of academic programs and support for scientific research, enhancement of the quality system, and he clarified that the agreement enhances opportunities for academic exchange, activation of joint programs, and strengthening of scientific integration, in addition to revitalizing cultural and scientific mobility through joint lectures, seminars, conferences, and workshops, and the exchange of research and scientific projects of mutual interest, which meet the requirements of modern higher education, and enhance students' readiness and their ability to compete in the local and regional job market.
On his part, Dr. Al-Majool expressed his pride in signing this agreement with Amman Arab University, pointing out that it represents an advanced model of Arab academic cooperation based on active partnership and knowledge exchange, explaining that the agreement will enhance opportunities for scientific and applied cooperation, especially in the areas of student and faculty exchange, and the implementation of joint scientific activities, which positively reflects on developing student skills and connecting university education to practical application, serving the goals of both universities in enhancing the quality of higher education.
