Khaberni - In a shocking statement during his arrest, a British man said he "will miss playing GTA", just moments after his arrest on charges of murdering his former partner in a brutal crime, before the court later sentenced him to life imprisonment.
A British court sentenced the accused to "35 years" lifetime in prison, with a minimum requirement of serving 16 years and one month behind bars, after he confessed to killing his girlfriend "40 years old" inside her home in the city of Abingdon.
The court explained that the accused launched a brutal attack on the victim causing her serious fractures in the ribs and a fatal brain injury, and according to the investigations, he killed the victim and called the police confessing that he had committed "a brutal act" and when the police arrived at the scene, they declared the victim dead on the spot.
What was shocking in the case, as revealed by the investigations, was that the killer screamed hysterically and said he will miss GTA, referring to the famous video game series "Grand Theft Auto", and when asked by an officer about his meaning, he clarified that he was referring to the sixth installment of the game.
For his part, the chief investigator in the Major Crimes Unit said that the actions of the accused were harsh, and that his behavior in leaving the victim without attempting first aid or seeking medical help was unfair and inhumane.
