Boeing 400 Defensive Systems Are Our Partners in Saudi Arabia

Khaberni - Asaad Al-Jumua, president of Boeing in Saudi Arabia, said, "There are more than 400 defensive systems that are partners to Boeing within the Kingdom," indicating that the American giant has collaborations with local manufacturers.
As reported by the Saudi Economic newspaper today, Monday, Asaad Al-Jumua, president of Boeing in Saudi Arabia, confirmed: "The partnership is also effective through academic and technical cooperation, where Boeing is a founding partner of Faisal University, and it has partnerships with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology."

He added that "the American giant company collaborates with local manufacturers, such as the Saudi Military Industries Company (SAMI) which leads the defense localization mission in the country."

Al-Jumua explained that "localizing industries is a main goal for all companies operating in the Saudi market, as the partnership with local manufacturers, such as the Saudi Sugar Industries Company, represents a starting point for Boeing to support the Saudi target of localizing more than 50% of military expenditure by 2030, a path where Boeing is considered an essential partner in the stages of localization and technology transfer."

According to Al-Jumua, the relationship between "Boeing" and Saudi Arabia "historically extends over more than 81 years of cooperation, where the company currently contributes through a workforce of more than 90 employees at its headquarters in Saudi Arabia, along with a significant record in the commercial sector that saw the delivery of more than 170 commercial aircraft over the past years."
