TEAMtalk newspaper on X stated that with increasing talk about a state of dissatisfaction within the club's corridors, claims have emerged suggesting that the coach is frustrated and believes he is qualified to take on the coaching role at Real Madrid, which has opened the door wide to speculation about his potential departure at the end of the season.
"These developments come at a sensitive time, following Liverpool's home defeat against Manchester City 1-2, a loss that has increased the pressure on Slot, especially since the team now ranks sixth in the English Premier League standings, five points away from the Champions League qualifying spots, a target that has become a fundamental condition for the coach's continuation in his role," it was explained.
