Khaberni  - Egyptian sources have revealed that the upcoming hours might see a ministerial reshuffle, involving changes including 13 portfolios, in a step reflecting a reorganization within the government’s structure.

According to sources, the list of ministers expected to leave their posts includes several current ministers, among them Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, and Engineer Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, alongside Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports.

The list also includes Engineer Hassan El-Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning and Economic Development and International Cooperation, and Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade.

The sources also mentioned that among the names expected in the upcoming reshuffle are also Counselor Adnan Al-Fanjari, Minister of Justice, alongside Mohamed Gebran, Minister of Labor, Engineer Mohamed El-Shimi, Minister of the Public Business Sector, and Engineer Mohamed Salah El-Din, Minister of State for Military Production.

The list also includes Dr. Pilot Sameh El-Hefny, Minister of Civil Aviation, among the ministers expected to be included in the reshuffle, according to what the sources confirmed.

The sources affirmed that the anticipated ministerial reshuffle comes within the framework of ongoing governmental movements, without disclosing the timing of the official announcement or the alternative names that may assume the ministerial portfolios involved in the change, merely indicating that the announcement may occur in the coming hours.

This comes at a time when the Egyptian Parliament announced yesterday a call to convene an emergency session, without officially disclosing the agenda as of yet, coinciding with information about the anticipated ministerial reshuffle, which has intensified speculations about the imminent announcement of the governmental change and finalizing its details during the upcoming hours.
