Khaberni – The Jordan Football Association said that Al-Ramtha Club did not deserve any penalty kicks in their last match against Al-Buqaa.
The association, through the program «The Decision» broadcast after each round on the federation's digital platforms, clarified that the referee's decisions not to count penalty kicks requested by Al-Ramtha players were correct, and the referee also made two mistakes in not warning Al-Ramtha players for simulation.
In detailing the cases of the week according to Khaberni's monitoring of the episode, the federation stated the following:
Al-Wehdat and Al-Faisaly:
• Minute 93: The referee decided not to count a penalty for Al-Wehdat, and warned the Al-Wehdat striker for simulation, and the decision was correct.
Al-Buqaa and Al-Ramtha:
• Minute 62: The referee did not count a penalty for Al-Ramtha, due to no contact between Al-Buqaa's defender and Al-Ramtha's striker, and insisted on continuing the play. The correct decision was to count an indirect free kick for Al-Buqaa, and warn Al-Ramtha's striker for simulation.
•Minute 73: Al-Ramtha's striker stepped on Al-Buqaa's defender's foot then fell deliberately, and the referee ordered the game to continue, but the correct decision was to count an indirect free kick for Al-Buqaa, and warn Al-Ramtha's striker for simulation.
• Minute 86: The referee's decision not to count a penalty for Al-Ramtha due to the ball touching the hand of a Al-Buqaa player was correct, as the ball rebounded from the defender's foot to his supporting hand unintentionally.
• Minute 90+7: The referee decided not to count a penalty for Al-Ramtha, and warned Al-Ramtha's striker for simulation, and the decision was correct.
Al-Hussein Irbid and Shabab Al-Ordon:
• Minute 82: The referee did not count a penalty for Al-Hussein Irbid, and the decision was correct.
• Minute 85: The referee did not count a goal for Shabab Al-Ordon due to a collision with Al-Hussein Irbid's goalkeeper, and the decision was correct.
Al-Jazeera and Al-Ahli:
• Minute 17: The referee counted a correct penalty for Al-Ahli.
• Minute 57: The referee did not count a penalty for Al-Jazeera, warned the Al-Jazeera player for simulation, and the decision was correct.
• Minute 90+2: The referee did not count a penalty for Al-Jazeera, and the decision was correct, as the ball touched the back of Al-Ahli's defender and not his hand.
Al-Salt and Al-Sarhan:
• Minute 29: The referee's decision to count a penalty for handball was correct.
• Minute 39: The referee counted a simulation foul and warned an Al-Salt player, although what happened was natural contact between Al-Sarhan's goalkeeper and Al-Salt's striker within fair competition, hence the decision was incorrect, and the correct decision was to continue the play.
• Minute 44: The referee's decision to send off Al-Sarhan's defender after stopping Al-Salt's player by holding was correct, due to a clear scoring opportunity.
