Khaberni - Civil Defence teams rescued one person after a cave collapsed on two people on Hawara Road east of Irbid city, while efforts are still ongoing to reach the other trapped person under the rubble.
Civil Defence teams were present at the site immediately after the incident occurred; they began rescue operations using the necessary equipment and machinery, while imposing strict safety procedures for fear of further collapses.
Security sources confirmed that the site was completely secured, while the health condition of the rescued person is yet to be known, and concerned authorities have opened an investigation to determine the causes of the accident.
