Khaberni - Ministers of Youth, Dr. Raed Al-Adwan, and Labor, Dr. Khaled Al-Bakkar discussed the joint cooperation between the two ministries in implementing qualitative training programs targeting young job seekers.
The ministers affirmed during a meeting held today, Monday, at the Ministry of Youth, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Ministry, Dr. Mazen Abu Bakr, and the Acting Director-General of the Vocational Training Corporation, Rafat Al-Sawafin, the importance of integrating national efforts to develop training programs that meet the needs of the labor market, focusing on building practical and professional skills required in various sectors, thereby enhancing the readiness of the youth to engage in the labor market.
Al-Adwan pointed to the ministry's keenness on expanding partnership with the Ministry of Labor and related institutions, and investing in the infrastructure of youth centers to implement training programs, enabling young people to obtain job-placement opportunities.
In turn, Al-Bakkar emphasized the importance of cooperation with the Ministry of Youth in executing vocational and technical training programs, and supporting initiatives that link training to employment, by empowering youth with skills needed for the labor market through programs of the Vocational Training Corporation.
The meeting discussed mechanisms for joint work and identifying priority sectors for implementing employment-ending training programs.
