Khaberni - Lebanese star Elissa made sure to clarify the reason for her delay in ascending to the stage during her last concert in Toronto, presenting a candid apology to her audience in her familiar spontaneous style.
Upon arriving at the stage, Elissa addressed the audience, saying: "The zipper of my dress got stuck backstage, that’s why I was late to come out and sing", a statement that was met with widespread applause and great interaction from the audience.
Elissa appeared at the concert in an elegant look, opting for a short, smooth gold dress with a tight design and long sleeves by the renowned Lebanese designer Elie Saab, adorned with sparkling sequins, styled simply to highlight the luxury of the design.
Similar situations
Elissa had also apologized to her audience during a previous concert in New York after she was delayed by a traffic accident, and said at the time: "I apologize for being late, but there was an accident on the road which caused our delay, and I normally don’t like to be late to my appointments, thank you for this lovely atmosphere", affirming her constant commitment to respecting her audience.
During this concert, the Lebanese star opted for a different look than usual, appearing in a completely shiny suit, consisting of wide pants and a classic blazer, with a simple and modern design that stood out.
Artistic collaboration
Artistically, Elissa is preparing to perform the theme song for the series "As Much as Love" starring actress Nelly Karim, scheduled to be aired during the upcoming Ramadan season. The theme comes from the words and music of Aziz El-Shafei, and arranged by Nader Hamdi, in an artistic collaboration awaited by the audience.
