Khaberni - Businessman Talal Abu Ghazaleh has issued a set of proposals for the Jordanian government, following its announcement to study a proposal to close government offices three days a week, following the example of some other countries that have made a similar decision.
Abu Ghazaleh's proposals included a 6-day workweek for all sectors without exception, and to have the weekly holiday on Friday only.
Abu Ghazaleh also proposed canceling the judicial holiday, eliminating the summer school vacation and treating it as a school term, and abolishing non-essential and unnecessary holidays, only keeping national and religious holidays.
Abu Ghazaleh stated that the nation needs productivity, and the human body needs to continue functioning, and that productivity is the sole national product of Jordan.
