Following the Rift with Tameri Rennes Prepares to Dismiss Coach Habib Biyeh

Khaberni - Reliable French news reports agree that the management of Rennes FC has decided to part ways with coach Habib Biyeh, following a decisive meeting held this Monday morning to determine his future.

Reasons for the Dismissal

Sources indicated, according to monitoring by "Khaberni", that the last straw breaking the camel's back in the future of the Senegalese coach was the recent defeat to the club Lens by a score of (3-1) last Saturday, which was the team's fourth consecutive loss in various competitions.

Reports highlighted "severe tensions" in the team's dressing room, particularly after Biyeh's unexpected decision to exclude French international goalkeeper Brice Samba in the last match.

Recent reports also mentioned a sharp conflict between the coach and the team’s Jordanian international star, Mousa Tameri; the news mentioned that the coach yelled at the player saying, "You are not a good player, all you do is run".

The Expected Successor

Reports indicate that Rennes has already agreed in principle with coach Frank Hayes, who is currently unattached since leaving Nice at the end of last December, and is in advanced negotiations with him to take over the job immediately.

Behind the Departure Scenes

Hours before the dismissal was announced, news leaked of "substantial" financial demands made by Biyeh in exchange for leaving, which included receiving full salaries for the current and upcoming seasons, as well as a percentage from the sale of some players he helped develop (such as Jeremie Jakyeh and Kader Miti).

For its part, the Rennes administration officially denied the accuracy of these "exaggerated" financial demands, but it did not deny the intention to terminate the coach’s contract.
