Statement from AlRamtha Repeated Arbitration Errors Threaten the Fairness of the Professional League

Khaberni - The management of Al-Ramtha Club, the president, members, and fans, announced their strong condemnation and disapproval of what they described as the «serious and continuous decline» in the level of local refereeing, following the team's 2-2 draw with Al-Baqa'a Club, in the Jordanian Professional League.

The club confirmed in an official statement that the repeated refereeing errors, especially in pivotal matches, negatively affected the integrity of the competition and the fairness of the results, and contributed to the depletion of points and distortion of the championship’s course, amidst a lack of accountability and satisfaction with justifications that do not address the core issue.

The statement clarified that the club's position resulted from an accumulation of influential refereeing errors that have been repeated in the team’s matches since the beginning of the season, the latest of which was in the match against Al-Baqa'a, noting that these errors had been acknowledged by journalists, media professionals, and sports critics, in addition to official acknowledgment of errors in other matches, without taking deterrent measures.

Al-Ramtha Club declared its loss of confidence in the current state of local refereeing, rejecting the continuation of managing its crucial and decisive matches in the same manner unless real reforms are implemented to ensure fairness and equal opportunities.

The club has put the Jordan Football Association in front of its responsibilities, demanding an immediate and radical reform of the refereeing system, and accountability for those responsible for these errors, confirming its intent to submit all documented refereeing cases to FIFA, and to take all available official and legal steps to preserve the integrity of the competition and protect the club's rights, enhancing the trust of clubs and fans in the fairness of the competition.
