Cairo Amman Bank continues its support for the Leaf a Mark initiative to increase green areas and support sustainability in Jo

Khaberni – Cairo Amman Bank continues to implement its environmental initiative Leaf a Mark, which was launched in 2019, and aims to increase green spaces in various parts of the kingdom by planting forest and fruit trees in dam lands.
The initiative works to empower beneficiary families by planting fruit trees that provide a sustainable additional income contributing to their daily needs, alongside promoting self-reliance and expanding their agricultural production. The initiative also contributes to expanding vegetation cover in Jordan and reducing the degradation of forest lands.
During the latest activity carried out by the initiative, the Leaf a Mark teams planted 200 diverse forest and fruit trees in the King Talal Dam area (Tal Al-Rumman), where tree types were chosen to suit the nature of the area to ensure the highest success rates and productivity. The event also included a volunteer activity to clean the dam entrance involving the initiative team and bank volunteers, as part of enhancing environmental awareness and encouraging the culture of volunteer work.
