College of Aviation Sciences at Amman Arab University Participates in the First Jordanian Aviation Future Forum

Khaberni - Under the directions of Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Widian, President of Amman Arab University, the College of Aviation Sciences participated in the "First Jordanian Aviation Future Forum" organized by the Jordan Engineers Association, under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Nidal Al-Qatamin, Minister of Transport, and with the attendance of Engineer Abdullah Ghosheh, Head of the Jordan Engineers Association. Representatives from Amman Arab University at the forum included: Professor Dr. Malik Al-Salem Al-Anaqreh, Dean of the College of Aviation Sciences, Dr. Ahmad Al-Hasban, Head of Aircraft Maintenance Department, Dr. Bashar Badr, faculty member, and students of the College of Aviation Sciences at Amman Arab University, with extensive participation from academic institutions, aviation companies, and related entities.
The forum witnessed an effective participation by Dr. Al-Hasban in preparing the strategic study about the future of aviation in Jordan until 2035, where the results of this study were presented during the forum activities, contributing to outlining the future development of the national aviation sector. Additionally, students of the College of Aviation Sciences and students of the Aerospace and Electronics Community (AESS) - Amman Arab University branch, led by student Mohammad Abu Amsha and supervised by Dr. Bashar Badr, faculty member, participated in the forum's activities which included an opening session and several specialized dialogue sessions that addressed topics on drones, aviation academies, Type Rating programs, alongside aircraft technology and manufacturing, and the forum opened the discussion door for students which allowed them direct interaction with specialists and experts, thereby enriching their knowledge and linking theoretical aspects with practical applications in the aviation sector.
In this regard, Dr. Al-Anaqreh emphasized the importance of involving students in specialized events in the aviation sector that contribute to supporting graduates and broadening their professional horizons, and enhancing strategic partnerships with the Jordan Engineers Association and related parties, as this has a direct effect in honing students' skills and linking academic education outcomes with the evolving market requirements. Al-Anaqreh also introduced during the forum the specialties of the College of Aviation Sciences at Amman Arab University, which are: Aircraft Maintenance, Aviation Electronics, and Aviation Management, reaffirming the college's commitment to developing its academic programs in line with international standards and serving national development directions in the aviation sector.
This participation reflects Amman Arab University's dedication to enhancing the practical and knowledge aspects of its students, and directly connecting them with the future directions of aviation in Jordan, thereby contributing to preparing qualified cadres capable of keeping pace with sector advancements and handling its future challenges.
