Khaberni - Susan, the daughter of Kuwaiti actress Hayat Al-Fahad, disclosed significant health complications her mother is going through, confirming that the recent stroke her mother suffered has left profound effects on her overall state, most notably the loss of her ability to speak, which was a painful shock for the family and her fans.
Susan explained, during a phone call on the show "Good Morning Kuwait," that the treatment journey her mother underwent in London did not achieve the desired results, despite its continuation for several months. She noted that the family returned to Kuwait to continue the treatment under direct medical supervision and close to family.
The daughter of the Gulf screen's lady thanked the audience for their prayers and concern, asserting that the support of her loved ones gives the family positive energy and renewed hope for an improvement in her condition.
Susan mentioned that the stroke significantly affected her mother's general health, with daily developments in her condition, pointing out that what weighs on her psychologically is her mother's inability to speak, expressing hope that she might regain this ability, even partially, in the upcoming period.
On his part, Yousuf Al-Ghaith, the manager of Hayat Al-Fahad, in television statements, revealed that the distinguished artist stayed in a London hospital for more than four months, however, her condition did not respond to treatment, due to the extent of damage the stroke caused in the brain.
He indicated that the medical team saw that continuing the treatment in Kuwait and among her family members might be better for her psychological state, confirming that the decision came after a precise medical evaluation.
Al-Ghaith added that the stroke not only affected her speech but also caused damage to her vision, leading doctors to decide on prohibiting visits at the moment, to maintain her health stability and her need for complete rest.
It is worth mentioning that Hayat Al-Fahad was preparing to present a new drama during the upcoming Ramadan, but the sudden deterioration of her health condition led to the suspension of all her artistic commitments, where her manager expressed his sadness for the artist's absence from the Ramadan season for the first time, asking the audience to pray for her.
