Gruesome crime Egyptian man shackles his daughter and burns her alive with the help of his wife

Khaberni - The Public Prosecution in Cairo begins today, Sunday, investigating the torture incident of a 12-year-old girl, committed by her father and his second wife, who shackled her and set her on fire inside the family’s home in the El Marg area, under the pretext of suspecting her behavior.

The Egyptian security forces had received a notification from a hospital stating the arrival of an elementary fifth-grade girl suffering from serious burns in various parts of her body, with a criminal suspicion.

Immediately, a security force from the police department moved to the hospital and the scene of the incident for inspection and investigation. It turned out that the girl suffered from third-degree burns estimated at about 95% of her body, and her health condition is critical.

It was also revealed that her father and his second wife were involved in the incident. Preliminary investigations indicated that the father’s wife falsely alleged the child's misconduct, which led the father to restrain his daughter before assaulting her by beating her in collaboration with his wife, then pouring a flammable substance on her and setting her on fire under the guise of disciplining her.

After legalizing the procedures, the security services managed to arrest the father's wife, who confessed to committing the incident, while security forces intensify their efforts to arrest the fugitive father, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation to take the necessary legal actions.
