Yarmouk Water Reoperates Wadi AlArab Well

Khaberni - Yarmouk Water Company resumed the operation of Wadi Al-Arab Well (6) on Sunday after completing its rehabilitation and development, which is part of a special tender for well rehabilitation, supervised by the Directorate of Wells and the Geology and Information Department at the company.

The company's spokesperson, Muath Obaidat, said that the rehabilitation work included cleaning the well and conducting the necessary technical examinations, where water samples were taken and tested, and the results showed that they complied with drinking water standards. He noted that the water was then pumped back towards the Moath bin Jabal reservoir.

A week ago, the company had announced that it would have to temporarily reduce pumping hours in some areas of the northern Shuna due to the rehabilitation work of the well that feeds the Moath bin Jabal reservoir, which supplies areas in the northern Shuna.

The company explained that the rehabilitation of the well and the resumption of its operations will contribute to improving the water supply quantities to those areas.
